Acceture Was Andersen Consulting
"I just came off the board of Accenture recently." - Ballmer

Huzzah, Huzzah, finally a move that makes some sence. Ballmer for to long has had this relationship with the old Anderson Consulting (of Arther Andersen - Enron scandle fame) that has confused investors who know that other software companies make most of their money by encouraging the customer to purchase services. The software business is not the same as the drug business.

Ballmers move off the Accenture board was long overdue as he never should have been allowed to be on that board while still at Microsoft. The conflicts of interest are just so obvious. Shareholders have a ligitimate action against Ballmer, IMO, for the profits Microsoft should have been making but did not because Ballmer wanted that busness to go to Accenture and other partners.

Now lets see how long it takes for Ballmer to get overrulled at Microsoft and for the company to bring in the "Solution Patner" and Microsoft Certified Engineer permatemps. Preston Gates and Ellis might argue till they are blue in the face but if those permatemps are supporting only Microsoft products they really should be considered Microsoft employees. Microsoft's Abramoff can not help them now. The comany may just have to give up its criminal ways.

Good move Ballmer! Now get Microsoft into Consulting. That is what it will take to challenge IBM and Everyone else.
