Will get steam-rolled at Adobe too...
What a joke this guy is. Runs an also-ran software division at an also-ran company like Sun and now goes to another company squarely in the crossfire of Microsoft. When SteveB talks about business value, he is aiming a cannon at Adobe. PDF is dead with the wide spread adoption of Infopath. Pretty soon Flash will be a goner too. It is all part of the business value Microsoft delivers by combining one degree of separation with the agile enterprise, creating a vision of synergies that can only be realized through the usage of exclusive Microsoft software. One day a long time ago, in what seems like a galaxy far-far away my rep asked me "Where did I want to go today?". The answer to that question led me on a wild-ride of technology that makes the disocvery of electricity and the telephone pale in comparison. As my rep and I prepare for the journey ahead, we laugh at people who think ANY software company can withstand an attack from this fully functional battleship known as Microsoft.
