Overpriced? I think not.
I simply disagree that Mac Hardware is overpriced. Certainly
some items are expensive (think Apple Cinema Displays) but
when you buy a product it is not simply the nuts and bolts.
design is a key element for many of us. Having seen the state
that many people live in I can quite understand why a basic
Windows Box or garish Windows Box is probably a high design
feature for them along with cheap carpets, flooring, framed
prints on the walls and furniture from IKEA. There are however a
number of people who can afford to pay for good design and
also have homes that have original artwork, real wood furniture
etc. An apple will do very nicely thanks you and I would consider
them a fair price. Not everyone looks for cheap low quality
items!
IMHO Windows is overpriced for its quality and considering the
number of boxes they ship there is simply profiteering by
Microsoft.
