Like right now where I get my ADSL connection from is offering a trial in some area, unfortunately not mine, of 260 TV channels over the phone. From what I've heard it's better than what the cable company offers right now.
I'm betting the future of TV will change. No longer will you be waiting for thursay at 9 for Survior. You could watch anytime after it's release date. So if you were working till 10 you come home and watch it by downloading the latest episode. Thought it was cool download it again to watch.
This would hearld in a new era of TV. Imagine those show that if you miss last weeks episode then this weeks episode doesn't make much sense.
