the problem with your theory is DSL requires a stinger to be placed every mile or two to cover an area. this is very expencive and the phone companies (who have been losing money lately) are not willing to spend the money to serve rural areas. DSL is no more secure than BPL...if someone really wants you they can get you...promise...and
