Is broadband set to make power lines sing?

The old fasioned way is just that

I am a subscriber to 56k dial up service. Yes it is internet...but barely. I also happen to be in the middle of nowhere. Yes we have power lines and phone lines. Problem is DSL can only be serviced to a limited area from its starting point. I tried and failed to get DSL in a lengthy process. However, you make note that power lines go out to the middle of nowhere. This is the essence of BPL...with those lines everyone with power would get broadband. So?you made my point for me.
