I know it is probably beyond everyone to get along sometimes but can you at least try? We know that the people who like Linux like it for their various reasons ( I however am not one of them) and that the people who use Windows use it for their various reasons. The point is that the people who use them DO use them for a reason, it works for their needs. We don't have to agree but the mudslinging and namecalling (and regrettably I do admit that I participate in it occasionally) are getting way out of control. There is a difference between disagreeing with someone and belittling them just because you do not agree with them. We all know that some people's opinions (both for and against) go away beyond the norm and make you wonder about them but that is no reason to act like a bunch of children who need to be supervised at recess.
So the OS is under a six week delay? I am assuming that this is an actual USABLE OS and not just a beta version? (ie: longhorn?) If you want to make a comparison on them and there is a 6 week delay on the actual OS as compared to the fact that we are still waiting for a non beta version of Vista then that is not that bad. If you don't like Linux (as I don't) then more power to you. If the OS of choice (in this case whatever upgrade to Linux this is) has a delay on it then I guess you just have to wait.
