----I've attented some of these M$ extravaganzas. I went merely to ask them simple questions I knew would embarass them. ---


Bitty, bitty, bitty. Pray tell. Show me where the word 'longhorn' appears in my post. For the life of me I couldn't find it.

Usual technique. Create a non-existent situation then counter your imagined augument with twisted facts.

Attendance is paid by employer. I get a time away from installing patches and get the bonus of venting at the company that created the internet virus problem. Let me see....50,000 windwoes viruses, 5 commercial Unix viruses, about 40 Linux/Apple viruses. Yeah, I'd say windwoes is the problem.

I normally watch all the Linux servers but, since they give so little trouble, and the fact I'm also the most qualified and experienced windwoes admin, I have to fix them too. That is the only gripe I have about Linux...it's too dependable.

I hope you know that changing names is akin to changing geography. It won't make you smarter, younger, more intelligent or more desirable to the opposite sex. Why bother? Do something really useful, like, feed the hungry.

With your M$ mindset, perhaps, in your case, 'microsoft steers developers' is an action phrase.

Oh, almost forgot the obligatory famous final word...

Bah, why do I even bother, you're obvioulsy full of it...

The final refuge of the M$ shill.
