This is easy, because they will have to pay in the EU where here in the US they get threatened with a fine.

Granted the fine isn't much... but every day?! Investors will see this and start to pull, Microsoft can't afford that. Eventually they will have to capitulate and comply.

$2,360,000.00 a day * 7 = $16,520,000.00 a week. Which equates to $66,080,000 a month. I don't know about you but even with the war chest they have, this will start to hurt pretty quick.

So they will either need to comply or go ahead and stay the course they have chosen, either way it's gonna hurt. And it's about damn time too!
