What's funny...I think Writely is written in ASP.NET. I know it makes some aspx calls. They turn up in the Ethereal logs. Rewrite! Hehe.

Still going to be cool. Writely with Gmail will be a heck of collaboration tool.

And I'd be willing to wager Google is already talking to the web site with the AJAX spreadsheets and a database provider.
