Risk of Software Development Related to Abramoff
I am worried that developing anything for Microsoft products carries with it a high risk. That risk is not only related to the marketing strategy of Vista but also to Microsoft's connection to the influencing peddling scandle in the federal government involving Abramoff. Today Abramoff promissed to name names. Those names will undoubtedly include Microsoft principles. The sentencing of Abramoff is to be made one day prior to Microsoft's EU fines on the 29th of this month. Already, justification for Microsoft Office products is being required by US governement agencies. The story of how corruption as moved from Microsoft to the government is not really being told. This article is instructive.

Linux is not Java. I get frustrated that everyone assumes that they are the same. I develop for windows platforms because best-I-can-tell 95% of the PCs are Windows based and in most cases there is a need to run at least one Microsoft product. But no one I know of develops in C sharp. Those who like the language and will code in nothing else just do not work. Is this not true?
