What is FUD?
sometimes it takes sarcasm to make a point Sir. Sorry if I upset you...was that your Son I replied to Mr. Stormdoor? Or do open source megalomaniacs speak for one another all the time? One large unified voice?
What about my concerns of going open source vs. Windows? Nobody talks about that here. For starters, what desktop should I go with that is open source so I can find what I'm missing. It needs to come competitive with XP pro features out of the box on one DVD. I'm a programmer and need to get work done, not cobbling something together from several sources that may or may not have support, or if they do it's speculative to as how long.
