I think we can confidently predict that Infopath will generate a large number of unmaintainable, bug ridden applications.

Combining a legacy at birth data management method (XML) and Visual Basic for Applications is truly a marriage made in hell.

At least Longhorn shows some faint glimmerings of understanding of the importance of data management in the Microsoft camp. Until then we will have these kind of continuing and desperate attempts to join together the Office applications. An impossible task without a proper universal data management concept.
