Wrong concept
This isn't about the network. This is about local harddrive encryption.

Think of it like this. Say the police supply you with a warrant for you PC to investgate a crime, say fraud or something. They get you PC but you files are encrypted with bitlocker. They want a back door to access those files.

Now I'm not sure how Vista will work but I'm assuming if you have administrator access you will probably be able to recover those file same as you can in Windows XP. So all a police officer does is image you drive then use boot utility to set the admin password and in they go. They then recover the data files and they have what they need. Not sure why they would need a special backdoor for this? Of course this assumes nothing changes in the future. Still I doubt Microsoft would lock thier OS down so much that the average user ends up locking themselves out of thier OS regularly. This happens already with Windows XP, luckily all it takes is special boot disk to get them fixed up.
