That's the problem
I mean Microsoft can by all means include WMP with the OS. I mean they do that with cars. All cars come with stereo system of some sort, most often a cheap stock unit that is just a basic radio and CD player with no frills.

Now I can remove the stock stereo in my car and put my own system in to replace it. While Microsoft in comparision doesn't allow this. You can add another media player but you can't remove the Microsoft one. That would be like having add a new stereo system on top of the stock stereo in the new car you bought.

That's really the only problem I have with WMP. Personally I find it works the best right now though. Real Bites and the free Quick times sucks.
