to the OS. Unless you consider Precluding Competition a
technical reason.

But here's the rub, you can delete iTunes on a Mac. It's not
welded to the OS. You can also delete many of the middleware
apps, in OS X. You are given a choice of what you want on your
machine.

BTW, you missed the happy in the quote, kinda changes the context.

Anyway, if MS just included the apps and not integrated them that would be ok?
That would help the competition because millions of users would immediately delete them?
I hope the instructions are very clear about downloading a new browser before deleting the installed one. Could be tricky otherwise.
