On all the computers I've used.....
At work, friends houses, in the library, IE is slow. Now I've used
it on different versions of windows, on different machines
(CPUs), and it's still slower than others I've tried. At home I use a
Safari, I've banished MS from my home. I figure that MS doens't
feel the need to improve IE, because it's forced on every
windows user. If Ie wasn't welded to the OS, it would probably be
a better browser. Why? Because Ms would have to compete
based on merit, rather than on forced sales. I've heard the lame
excuses that the MS apologists issue. But in the end, the
escalating price of windows includes the price of the welded in
middleware.
