Real, one of those rare companies, that screwed itself
by coding their software to be as abusive, intrusive, and failing to provide a consumer experience that didn't feel like the user must police the application at all times or it will social engineer one to "share" data with the home company and its "partners". Quicktime, Winamp, even the stinky at the time MS MediaPlayer, ate at a competitor who stumbled on its own self evaluated worth (minus the consumer feedback). Install, upgrade, follow every move any media player makes- especially anything Real, . . that's why I moved to Winamp, . . . so maybe Real should sue AOL as well since AOL's Winamps parent now. Maybe Real can be real stupid and sue Apple for making a web media experience that big movie studios have in part chosen as the standard for movie trailers, . . maybe they'd like to sue Macromedia for making the other semi interactive web media experience. Maybe Real can sue the consumer for getting fed up with em, . . how dare some of us. . . .

Wow Real, you'll have a wonderfully large case against all the competitors that took a piece of your pie, the pie that's only yours and yours only. Go sit in the corner with SCO Real.
