In retrospect...
...I would have titled this thread "Irony", because the point of my original post was about the irony of Democrats suddenly being so concerned about job loss. I brought up unions only because it was mentioned in the article that the Democrats are focusing on manufacturing jobs, which tend to be unionized, even though the most recent job losses have been in more "white-collar" fields. The Democrat-union link was just something that occurred to me when I read that.

But as usual, things came out all wrong (like when I attempt humor). When will I learn to stop posting and just lurk?
