job loss
I hate to disappoint you but the job loss to overseas areas has been going on for many years and under both democratic and republican administrations. Now has it gotten worse under the Bush administration, I can't say. Maybe it has or maybe it is just the normal flow of jobs out.

Now who is to blame? You could blame the companies for doing it to save money. You could also blame the unions for raising the cost to the companies that they feel it is cheaper to move overseas. You could blame the government for allowing it to happen or you could blame all of the above. Face it. Companies are going to do whatever will make them the most money. Unions will do whatever will get them the most members and therefore the most power. Governments will not care as long as they get their share of the money.

What can we do about it? In the end, not a heck of a lot.
