You can go back to Windows 3.1 and see that WordPerfect
and Borland (amongst others) were accusing Microsoft of
exactly the same thing.

Microsoft have for over a decade been using undocumented
interfaces to Windows to leverage their other products so
that competitors can't build software that works with
Windows as reliably or fast as Microsoft's own products.
