Here's how stupid I am...
I can't get excited about either one to the extent that Linus does. The worst I might be able to say is that Gnome is the product of "Interface Soccer Moms."

"Nazi" is right out.

I've used a little KDE, used a little Gnome. Big deal. They each have shiny widgets 'n' buttons 'n' things.

It is impossible for me to see anything in either of them around which to build a fascist system of government, a religion, or even a hobby.

I am amazingly dense where "computer OS advocacy" is concerned.
