As Linux and OSS grows, MS will pull a Sun or IBM
and become more a hardware company, either partnering to embed software, co-branding like Dell has, maybe selling a branded Windows PC or server hardware, the next gen of the X-box hub. Software has become too much the common commodity for closed source software makers who can't partner with a finite hardware resource.
