Most of what I see in America Hatred is from Discussion Groups / Forums. Americans are seen as "overbearing", "uncouth", gun-toting, angry, "antisocial" people. (the quotes are for actual quotes). I've seen comments about how Americans too ignorant to learn other languages, while Europeans learn 3 or 4 (including English). I've seen comments about how Americans think they have rights to every other country in the world. That they think their country, their ways are the only ones that matter or count. (Not verbatum, but still a general quote.)
There are numerous stories from many people I've known & read about, of how Americans are treated rudely when on vacation in other countries. (One person even said "No, I'm Canadian." and instantly got treated better.

But then everyone has stereotypes. Americans all think that all Australians are like Crocodile Dundee.
