Re: Remember Shareware
Most complex companies (my employer for one) just does not have the money to, or wishes to take the risk to, develope open source software to fit our business needs. Maintenance is huge and failure to deliver a uniform and joined-up system is a real possibility across the many different aspects of our profile.

I know this from experience, we have been developing internal systems and integrating Open Source for years. SAP is the best thing we have done for this company. Yes it costs, but the returns are more solid and tangible.
