Let me get this straight...
He is leaving MS to work for a company that programs in MS .Net; but he doesn't know Windows. Is that about right? Let see...hmmm. Leaving MS because he can't use Windows to work for a MS shop. Let me take it once step further. He is leaving a *Linux* lab (his bread and butter) to go work on MS .Net code because he can't use Windows.

That logic sounds bass ackwards to me.
