The other White meat - Java
Java - wonderful easily accessable code, but wait, with each update java is slower than the last and is becoming the real porker. I have the same applications that run slower and slower as the java client becomes more robust and secure. Sound familiar? If this trend continues there is no way Google/Sun will rule over MS. It is possible that Google will put Java on a diet, slim down the code and make it better, we will have to wait and see. In the mean time, Google will rule the search arena, and MS will still have the office apps, live or not.
