It's an incorrect perception of corporations
Corporations don't have alliegance to any one country. When you claim why do these countries put up with our crap you have to realize that the crap isn't ours.

Remember that international corporations are world corporations not American or UK corporations. They may have started in one country as a small business but they have grown beyond the precieved borders we enforce.

Just wait until corporation are allowed to have armies like they did some 3 hundred years ago. Hudson Bay Co. ring any bells? Then watch what happens in the worlds hot spots when profit is to made.
