Insular and dismissive
You better wake up to the fact that English is spoken by a tiny minority of the world's population. Mandarin speakers alone number 800 million. SO if insular little bitty Microsoft wants to carry on forcing American spelling and pronunciation on all the clients of their Office products they are going to be shafted because there won't be any takers. And guess which OS has language localisation done by native speakers? Linux, of course. Right to left language support, near non-existent in Microsoft products (they share your views) is comprehensively supported in Linux. For many countries. Waste of money for MS to invest time and effort in non-English localisations? BWAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
