Like kernel 2.6? KDE 3.2? This doesn't make it experimental
or for enthusiasts. Fedora has a much more aggressive
release cycle than Red Hat Enterprise so it is obvious it is
going to include new technologies before the Enterprise
edition, and hence provide a proving ground.

--It is not a supported product of Red Hat, Inc.-- does not
mean support is not available. 1.5 years of free support for
Fedora Core releases will be provided by the Fedora Legacy
Project.

Debian is a wonderful volunteer supported distribution and
a fine choice. apt-get is a great tool, but so is yum (rpm
manager which can also be automated via cron).

What MS disease do you refer with your comparison with
Red Hat? Surely not the three new releases a year. I'll have
aged significantly by the time the next version of windows
comes out;-)
