Could Bill Gates Himself Release His Own Code?
I would not be surprised if Bill Gates ordered the code release so at sometime in the future he would make SCO type claims on Linux and Open Source software. Think about it. Bill Gates is living on his past reputation, once the wunderkind of his generation, now being ignored may be frantic to regain control, control, control, control that slips away each day.

It is not so far fetched to see this code release as a setup. Curiosity gets the best of Linux and open source programmers. The read the childish Windows code and have a good laugh. Then in the future Microsoft makes claims they stole the code and put it in Linux.

His scheme to control all things digital is slipping away. Recently he has gone to Disney, a corporation some say is as corrupt as Microsoft to see how they can scheme together. His faux operating system is turning into an Entertainment Delivery Device and Multimedia Vending Machine thus lock down the user by restricting what he or she can do with their own hardware.

I think Gates could end up like Howard Hughes a victim of his own selfishness and greed.
