Do they have to be server OSes on GSX?
Or can you run Desktop Linux on WinXP, and vice versa, or even XP on XP, like VMWare Workstation? Because if that's the case then there's no reason why anybody should be without that software, if only for running XP on XP. Even if it means you need to invest in a larger hard drive, it would be well worth the minor investment.
