Wow, the innovation is unbelievable
I have all my stock prices reading across my top menu bar, I
know the status of my Skype connection, I have the time and the
day (in case the asylum forgets to tell me), the status of my
battery, which application is up front, the strength of my wi-fi
reception and with one move of the mouse have a translator, a
currency exchanger, the latest news from several sources, etc
AND, son-of-a-gun, I can have the yellow pages, send an SMS
message to any SMS enabled phone in the world for $.10, geta
Google map, dial a Skype number, play Soduko, see the current
traffic situation in Paris or see if the sun has set on Baghdad
yet!!!!

But to have it in a SIDEBAR? Wooowwwww. Ooooooooohhhh.
Aaaaaaahhhh.
