Well, with Linus being a tuuurd right now, Sun might gain some mindshare
with this. But, they should go straight GPL3 to avoid confusion. Imagion if some things were available with the GPL version but not the CDDL because of licensing issues. Well, this does give Sun a chance to make up for some of the stupid things that Swartz said about Linux in the past. Heck, if Sun went GPL3 on Solaris, and Linus kept Linux at GPL2, it would be tempting to use Solaris.
