On the Contrary
The original law suit was about trade secrets, and license violations based on license agreements. Sco has withdrawn these claims and asked the court to accept new claims based on copyright infrigement and they have upped the anti to $5 billion.

Unfortunateley for Sco it appears that the copyrights and patents that they base their lawsuit and business modell upon actually belong to Novell.

It is evident that since Feb 2003 when this whole lolli gagging business began that the truck loads of code that SCO had claimed was infringing on their copyrights (I might add are in dispute with Novell.) The case basically is hinging on a definition of derivitive works. If you visit the Novell website and read their correspondence with SCO thewy Include original AT&T documents that clarify what Dirivitive works mean and that any code that is developed that doesn't include sysV code belongs to the creator of such code
