missed the point
Firefox was originally going to be called firebird - (ie Thunderbird for email, firebird for browser). But then there was a huge uproar about mozilla throwing its weight around to roll over this somewhat niche player in the DB field which also happened to be called firebird that they finally decided to rename the browser firefox. I believe the OP was commenting about how that whole controversy probably helped the firebird database get some recognition.
