You're mistaken...
Mozilla has Firefox and Thunderbird, but no Firebird. And actually, the Firebird database was pretty popular before its name change to Firebird. It was the opensource spinoff from Borland's InterBase product, which many used for an easy-to-use and manage small to mid-scale database. Remember, not that many years ago, Borland had quite a following...many of those developers used Interbase, at least as a developmental product in their testbeds.
