These VoIP providers dont want regulation so they do not have to provide the same level of reliability.
I have had the same land based phone phone service here for over 10 years. Sure the provider has changed hands a couple times..
But in over 10 years my phone service has NEVER gone out. I cant count the number of times my internet service or cable TV had gone out in that same amount of time.
Until VoIP can prodive THAT level of reliability I will pass.
