$ 40 Billion is not a tool but one hell of a lever.
Any company with $ 40 Billion in the bank and posting one profitable quarter after the next is not going anywhere any time soon. Even if Linux wins, Microsoft has the backing to survive. The post was mostly a parity of DB's showing how utterly ridiculous his really was. Get it?
