Doesn't help that retailers are selling bundled sets
versus offering the base console and accessories. Hitting some of the online stores, you don't really see the 299.00 or 399.00 units but these 600.00 and 800 ultra bundles. Early on, don't a lot of people rent the games and wait for more titles before buying 10 out of 15 or such?

All well, I do expect to see similar and repeat things out of Sony. I don't normally see Nintendo fudging with their shippable numbers, but how many completely sold out reports get tagged to a Nintendo console (not portable).

On the side, has any reported how Sony CDs react to the old or new Xbox, and will it be smooth sailing to play a rootkitted Sony CD on the PS3?? Oh well, only the future and a whistle blower can say on that. happy
