xbox shortage ..yeah right
A lot of people I've talked to say the initial line-up is poor. Personally, I feel the entire line up for the Xbox1 ended up being poor.

In fact I've just sold mine, to get a SECOND PS2 (four kids). This kids haven't used the Xbox since the first PS2 arrived christmas time.

Yes I had halo, yes I had xbox live. Is this all there was to offer?
FIFA online - no thanks. Driving games - no thanks.

Compare with PS2: You have eyetoy AND singing star. (you won't beleive how much fun this can be.. my daughter is tearing at my wallet to get this for her birthday).

I'm not down overall on Microsoft products, after all I'm very happy writing programs with Visual Studio here, and writing documentation with MS Office (but I couldn't justify buying an upgrade when OpenOffice is so good and free).

Xbox was good but not best of class. I can't see Xbox 360 toppling PS2 frankly (yes I do mean PS2).

And the PS3 will be 100% compatible with PS2 meaning all these great wierd wonderful games will work.
