What I want to know
Is why they keep using the term "PDC". Starting with 2000 there really is no primary domain controller in a Windows domain. Yes there are FSMO roles that if all held by one servers, makes it sort of like a "PDC", but those roles can (and should) be delegated out to other domain controllers.

I wonder how SAMBA handles things when FSMO roles are not all on one server.
