There is plenty of mindless drivel on both sides of the issue.

Being anything BUT new to ZD's TalkBack, you'll find I don't pull punches on either side. I am in favor of competition and choice and try to walk a middle line, as I use both and find there are very legitimate uses and needs for both.

However, it has been my experience here on ZD that the Linux side of the argument tends to be a little more mindless in their blind MS hatred, treating as fools all who do not agree with them. Since my post was in response to one of these, I do apologize if you felt included in my statement "Linux supporters" as it referenced "Chad".

I hereby propose to amend my original statement to:
"Messages like this reveal why *many* Linux supporters will continue NOT to be taken seriously".
