Companies: Linux a go, SCO or no

Gosh, you don't suppose...: ...it's because SCO has biased their case in the media with progressively more insane and undocumented claims? Consistently refused to provide any documentation to support their position? Pushed ahead with what appears to be a pump and dump stock scheme? Made themselves the laughing stock of the tech world? Nah, couldn't be any of that.

Hey, Alexander, did you read the part about critical systems running on Linux? That's because no one with a brain puts anything critical on Winblows. Our upgrade path for NT 4 and most of our Win 2000 boxes is Linux. We may add a couple 2003 boxes for web services, some .NET components and SQL server for legacy support, but nothing like before. Instead of a room full of Windows servers there's going to be a room full of Linux servers and a handful of Windows boxes. And we're not unique. It's the beginning of the end and the only person who can't see it is you. But then you haven't set foot in a server room for so long I can understand why you'd be overdue for a visit from the clue fairy.
