Why must the US lower its standard of living
Because there are liberal politians who are living like gods on tax dollars taking bribes and payoffs from companies lobbying in Congress like Wal-Mart and the big Tech Companies.

Who is to say $80,000 a year is to much to be paid, are you going to become the salary police and determine what someone is worth. FIRST off, lets take YOUR job and salary and determine how much to CUT off it. Lets say you make $45,000 I think you should only get paid about $25,000 this is insane. If you work and pay taxes and have the skills then you worked for that position and the rasises that you earned. I myself do not think paying for welfare/unemployment/healthcare for million of people because there is NO jobs is a good thing.

Anyone who supports Offshoring Technical/Computer jobs needs to lose their job and be forced to move to India and live in a mud hut with those people. You would be screaming to come back to the US and take back those ill-logical comments about Americans living to good.

Lastly, it is there own countries Governments fault that they are in their own mess. The Governments of 3rd world countries are like dictators, they live like gods. The people worship cows/rats/animals/made up gods so they are to blame for their own troubles.

In closing thoughts, if an immigrant wants to come to the United States, then they HAVE to accept the culture of the US not force their failed economic slum living on us. THEY MUST LEARN ENGLISH, PAY TAXES, ACCEPT OUR CULTURE. This is how the country was founded, not by all the immigrants bringing over failed economic policies of 3rd world pagan countries.
