Considering WinFS will be arriving shortly after Vista is released, and will be released for XP of course it will be in the next version of Windows. And once again it's not a file system, it's not a "new file storing mechanism" it's a metadata system that sits along side of the traditional FS.

Otherwise is Microsoft changing a project code name really all that big of news? I feel sorry for the writer who had to come up with enough material to fill out an entire article about it.
