I wonder how much R&D funding could have
I wonder how much R&D funding could have been used out of meaningless court cases. Imagine if instead of spending millions of dollars screaming "I saw it first" in court, if they would go about the business of developing the technology.

Innovation unfortunately has come to be a legal word for "if you make something cool, I'll just try to sue you and take it from you". Very sad, I wonder how much this sort of attitude has set us back as a species.
