I don't really care one way or the other, so I think NoAx' insinuation of a bias is misplaced.
The above quotes, when I read them in the documents seem to very very clear.
Imagine UNIX is a vase design: SCO have most rights to sell a vase of this design. But they don't own the vase design. Novell own the vase design.
This crucially means that Novell can licence derivative works, but SCO can't.
In my considered opinion, SCO stock will bomb in the next couple of weeks.
