Corel revamps office, graphics software

Corel's Blinders

While it's always good news to see Corel continuing to provide users with a choice, it's also terribly frustrating to see Corel continue to squander it's application that is most superior to all of its competition: Corel Ventura (publisher). I and many others continue to use this superb desktop publishing program because it simply beats the heck out of the competition in terms of built-in features, usability, and productivity. Yet Corel's new ownership continues to ignore Ventura and refuses to comment on its future. Quality of tech support? I haven't needed to call Corel's Ventura tech support this millenium -- that's how solid the program is and how good the newsgroup is. When will Corel's ownership wake up and continue to develop its most outstanding product?
