sexism is alive and well
This male geek has three comments:

A) It's well documented that social stigmas restrict access based on gender, in this case, math and sciences... do the math gentlemen.
B)Two of the most talented coders I've had the privilege of working with are women. Both of them could code the socks off anybody. One can bust a dump so fast if you blinked you'd miss it. The other can make online core patches, out of her head. I've watched both of them show OS internalist a thing or two about threading, and scaling...
C) To imply in any way that women are somehow less capable than men, especially in this field, is nothing more than entrenched sexist crap.
